Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi city tour (L/D)

For the first day of Hanoi – Sapa – Ha Long – Ninh Binh 6 days 5 nights you will follow the guide to take Hanoi city tour 1 day.

The tour guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old quarter.

Arrive at Tran Quoc pagoda – the oldest pagoda in Hanoi built in the 6th century.

Visit the Ho Chi Minh complex, you have a chance to see the embalmed body of Ho Chi Minh then walk around the garden to see 2 houses where he lived & worked from 1954 to 1969.

Then visit One Pillar pagoda which worships the Goddess of Mercy – It is the most unique pagoda in the world.

Continue visiting the Temple of Literature – the first university of Vietnam, established in the 11 century.

Have lunch at the restaurant.

Go to Hoan Kiem lake to visit Ngoc Son temple, which honors General Tran Hung Dao who defeated the invader in the 13th century.

Come back to your hotel.

Evening: Have dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi - Trang An - Bai Dinh - Hanoi (B/L/D)

Morning: Have breakfast at the restaurant. Our bus transfers you to Ninh Binh (110km).

In Ninh Binh, visit Bai Dinh pagoda which has the heaviest and highest spectacular Buddha statue in Vietnam. There is a set of bronze Tam The which is the biggest in Vietnam and several La Han statues.

Have lunch at the restaurant with special food.

Afternoon: Discover Trang An eco-tourism with a small boat.

Return to Hanoi.

Evening: Have dinner at the restaurant. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi - Sapa - Cat Cat (B/L/D)

Morning: Have breakfast, check out the hotel, and depart to Sapa. Arrive in Sapa, check-in at the hotel, and have lunch.

Afternoon: Start the trip on foot to explore the Cat Cat – Sin Chai village of ethnic Hmong – discovered by the French and choose a resort here in the early twentieth century. Coming to Cat Cat village, visitors pay a visit hydropower station, and waterfall of the Cat Cat village and learned about the culture, customs, and unique people here with traditional crafts such as weaving, touching carved silver, and forged agricultural tools, …

Day 4: Sapa - Ham Rong (B/L/D)

Morning: Have breakfast and visit Ham Rong mountain (Dragon Jaw mountain). On the way, you can enjoy the beautiful scenery or stop for taking photos.

You have a chance to see the orchid flower garden and get an overview of Sapa town. Enjoy traditional music and try the unique costume of the inhabitants. Have lunch at the restaurant.

Afternoon: Free time to go shopping and hang out. Come back to Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi - Halong (B/L/D)

Morning: Have breakfast at the hotel, check out the hotel, and depart for Ha Long bay 1 day tour from Hanoi.

07:30 – 08:30 AM: Our tour guide picks you up at your hotel in Hanoi Old quarter.

08:30 AM: Get on the bus and move to Ha Long bay.

10:00 AM: Arrive in Hai Duong province and have 20-minute short break.

12:00: Check-in at Tuan Chau harbor, Ha Long bay.

12:15: Welcome to the cruise and enjoy a welcome drink, get a brief introduction about cruise and safety guidelines. Check in your cabin.

12:30: Have Vietnamese seafood and vegetarian lunch, while cruising in the magnificent Ha Long bay, admiring the fascinating rock formations in the bay.

Travel Visa:

Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

If you need our assistance with visa procedures for an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country. Please refer to the following steps:

Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application

We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

We will send the visa approval letter via email to you after 07 working days.

After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then has been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).

Step 3: Get your visa stamp on your arrival

Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($25 for single entry visa; $50 for 1 month multiple entry visa). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, and then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.

Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download form to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee.
