Explore Vietnam 8 Days 7 Nights in Northern – Central

We will pick you up at Noi Bai airport in Hanoi and then transfer you to the hotel.

7:30-8:00 AM: Our tour guide will pick you up at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter, and then we’ll depart to Halong Bay via Expressway Transfer.

10:30 AM: Enjoy a short 20-minute break to relax.

12:00 – 12:30 PM: Arrive at Tuan Chau Harbor and receive a warm welcome to the Cruise. We will take you on a 5-6 hour journey, cruising through a route famous for its striking passages, uninhabited islets, and outcrops that have been given imaginative names by the locals due to their perceived shapes. While onboard, you can have lunch.

2:00 PM: Visit Surprising Cave to see a plethora of stalagmites and stalactites resembling various shapes of sea life.

3:00 PM: Explore Ti Top Island, featuring a sandy beach and a towering limestone mountain that offers an excellent backdrop of the bay. Climb up Ti Top Peak for a panoramic view of the bay, resembling paradise.

4:00 PM: Enjoy kayaking or a bamboo boat ride in Luon Cave to discover the beautiful lagoon.

5:00-5:30 PM: Cruise back to Tuan Chau Harbor, where you’ll have plenty of time to enjoy a sunset party with tea, cakes, and sunbathing on the upper deck while listening to music and having fun with your fellow tour group amidst the world’s iconic natural scenery.

6:00 – 6:30 PM: Board the bus to return to Hanoi via Expressway, and take a short 20-30 minute break during the journey.

9:00-9:30 PM: Arrive back at the hotel in Hanoi Old Quarter. The trip ends.

You will have breakfast at your hotel, and then around 7:30 – 8:00 AM: Our driver and tour guide will pick you up to travel to Ninh Binh.

10:20 AM: Visit Hoa Lu ancient capital, a significant relic of Vietnam’s past. Learn about the formation of the first capital located in Hoa Lu, Ninh Binh, and explore the unique architecture found in the famous temples of King Dinh and King Le, who made significant contributions to this ancient land.

After visiting Hoa Lu temple, you’ll take a bicycle to explore Trang An village.

12:20-12:30 PM: Enjoy a buffet lunch at a local restaurant and relax.

02:30 PM: One of the highlights of the trip is taking a boat tour from Trang An wharf, providing a satisfying experience in Ninh Binh. Row your bamboo boat to explore numerous grottos with beautiful stalactites and enjoy the wonderful landscapes of Trang An Tour.

04:00 PM: We will transfer you to Mua Cave by our tourist bus, or you have the option to take a bike ride, allowing you to cycle through the villages in Ninh Binh and observe local life.

Upon arrival at Mua cave, start climbing nearly 500 stone steps to reach the top. Experience the fresh air and admire the panoramic view of beautiful Tam Coc.

05:20 PM: The trip ends, and we will return to Hanoi city.

07:00 – 07:25 PM: You will be dropped off at train station. You will catch SE1 at 8:55pm  to Hue.

Upon arrival Hue train station around 9:50 AM. Our driver will take pick you up and take you to hotel.

8:00 AM – 8:30 AM: Our driver and guide will pick you up to commence the tour. We will board a dragon boat, gliding along the Huong River, allowing you to soak in the fresh atmosphere and tranquil beauty of Hue as we make our way to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the area.

After exploring Thien Mu, we will proceed to the Citadel, where you will have the chance to witness the living, working, worshiping, and leisure areas of the Nguyen Kings’ family—the last royal family of Vietnam. This visit will provide insights into the rich history and royal heritage of the region.

The final destination in the morning will be Dong Ba Market, followed by a visit to a local restaurant for lunch. The restaurant offers a wonderful opportunity to indulge in the finest traditional Hue cuisine.

In the afternoon, our itinerary will take us to two royal tombs: Minh Mang and Khai Dinh. These tombs are renowned for their traditional architecture and distinct styles, with Minh Mang reflecting a more traditional design and Khai Dinh showcasing French-influenced elements.

Following our visit to the tombs, we will embark on a short 10-minute car journey to Thuy Xuan Conical Hat Village. Here, we will visit a local family engaged in the production of traditional hats and incense. This visit presents an excellent opportunity for you to capture memorable photos with creatively decorated incense sticks crafted by the talented local artisans.

At 4:30 pm, the tour will come to a close, and we will return to the car for your convenient transportation back to the hotel

You will have breakfast at the hotel and then check out. At around 6:50 AM, our driver will take you to Hue train station to catch the Heritage train HD1 departing at 7:35 AM from Hue to Da Nang. With a travel time of about 3 hours, the train will take tourists through the Hai Van Pass — a place known as ‘the most majestic place in the world’ — to reach Da Nang.

Upon arrival at Da Nang train station at 10:30 AM, our driver will pick you up and transfer you to Hoi An ancient town. You can drop off your luggage and are free to explore Hoi An.

Custom tailoring is a huge industry in Hoi An. Hoi An is home to more than 400 tailoring shops and thousands of tailors who are not only talented at making clothes but are skilled in making shoes and handbags as well! The average turnaround time for full suits is a day and about 4 hours for handbags or shoes! If you are interested in getting custom-made items, try to find a shop of your liking as early as possible during your visit.

The afternoon is the perfect time of day to see some of the famous sights within Hoi An.

Hoi An is beautiful not only because of the ancient old quarter but also because of the countryside around the city. Only 15 minutes cycling from the city center, you will be surprised by the beauty of an amazing vegetable farm called Tra Que village. The special thing here is that people use only seaweed to fertilize the herbs, so they are totally organic. Visiting Tra Que village on a bike tour, you will have an easy ride through the beautiful rice fields watching water buffaloes lounging in the mud during the hot days. Moreover, you will have the chance to interact with local people when you experience farming work and make some rice paper.

The people of Hoi An believe that hanging lanterns in front of their house will bring luck, happiness and wealth to the members of their family in the house. Learn how to make your own awesome handmade souvenir lantern during this combo tour package.

This tour combines a cycling trip to Tra Que village and a short handmade lantern making class. No prior skills are required. After completing your products, you say goodbye to the locals and go for a light lunch. At the end of the tour, a bowl of Pho for lunch is a must.
