Hue Street Food Tour By Cyclo

06:00 PM: Tour guide of Elephant Travel pick you up at the hotel in Hue center, then get on a cyclo to start the Hue culinary discovery tour.

Crossing the streets with rich Hue cuisine stalls, you stop to enjoy Hue specialty cakes: banh beo, nam, loc

06:45 PM:

Next, the cyclo will take you to cross Truong Tien Bridge – the bridge connecting the two banks of the romantic Perfume River which are considered a symbol of the ancient capital of Hue to come to the most famous market in Hue called Dong Ba market – The market has been associated with the people of the ancient capital for many centuries, this is no longer an ordinary market and has become a place to store a lot of local cultural values.

After that, you enjoy Hue beef noodle soup – a dish that is not only a specialty of Hue people but also of Vietnamese cuisine. The wonderful combination of rich broth mixed with the pungent taste of satay and the special taste of fish sauce creates an irresistible taste for diners at first taste.

07:30 PM:

You continue to move to “cua Ngan” (Ngan gate) – the door for the king and the royal family to enter and exit, every time the king and the royal family entered the capital, the court sent soldiers to block the road in front of the city, not allowing anyone to pass through called “cua Ngan”.

Sitting on a cyclo along Doan Thi Diem street, passing through the moss-covered walls of the Citadel, you seem to be reminiscing as if you were lost in the majestic Royal Palace of a bygone era.

Cyclo goes along Doan Thi Diem street (in the past, it was Hien Nhon street – used by musician Trinh Cong Son like Phuong Bay street) to Dinh Tien Hoang street, you stop to rest and enjoy banh khoai and spring rolls.

Next, you move on Dinh Tien Hoang road to Thuong Tu gate. You will enjoy one of the sweet soups of the people of Hue such as lotus seed sweet soup, bean sweet soup…

At the end of the journey, the cyclo takes you across Phu Xuan bridge to see the whole scene of Hue at night, then return to the hotel.
