Itinerary

Day 1: Hue city tour (L)

08:00 PM: Our driver and guide will pick you up from your hotel in central Hue and depart for Hue city. We will board a dragon boat, gliding along the Huong River, allowing you to soak in the fresh atmosphere and tranquil beauty of Hue as we make our way to Thien Mu Pagoda, the oldest pagoda in the area.

09:30 AM: After visiting Thien Mu, we get on the minivan and go to the Citadel to see the living, working, worshiping and relaxing areas of Nguyen Kings’family, the last royal family in Viet Nam. Then, we have a 5-min walk from the palace to royal museum to know more about the king’s life through royal objects exhibited there.

Then, you visit Dong Ba Market.

11:45 AM: Have lunch at the restaurant with local foods.

01:30 PM: We will visit Minh Mang tomb – a tomb with its imperial elegance and atmosphere.

03:00 PM: Discover Khai Dinh tomb – an impressive tomb with its wealth and luxury.

We will take a 10-min trip on minivan to Thuy Xuan conical hat village, where you can explore the traditional hat and incense production and meet a local family involved in this craft.

04:30 PM: We get on minivan to come back to the hotel. You will check in the hotel. You are free to enjoy dinner within your own budget.

Day 2: Hue - Marble Mountain - Hoi An (B/L/D)

08:00 AM: You have breakfast and check out the hotel. You depart to Danang.

08:20 AM: The car will take you to visit the Thanh Toan tile-roofed bridge.

Next, we will get back in the car and start our journey towards Lang Co. We’ll travel along National Highway 1A, passing through the Phu Gia and Phuoc Tuong tunnels. Our tour guide will share the legend of Tam Giang Lagoon and Truong Nha Ho.

You visit Lang Co beach, you’ll have free time to marvel at its breathtaking beauty.

We’ll continue our journey to visit Hai Van Pass, which marks the boundary between Hue and Da Nang. From the top of Hai Van Pass, visitors can enjoy a panoramic view of Da Nang and Lang Co Bay.

Then, you depart to Danang.

Arrive Danang. You have lunch at restaurant. Then, you will check in the hotel and take a nap.

In the afternoon: You depart to visit Marble Mountains (Ngu Hanh Son) – Explore ancient architectural structures such as Xa Loi Tower, Vong Hai Dai, Vong Giang Dai, Tam Thai Pagoda, Tang Chon Cave, Hoa Nghiem Cave, Huyen Khong Cave, and more.

You will explore and learn about Hoi An Ancient Town – visiting prominent landmarks such as the iconic Japanese Covered Bridge (Chua Cau), Quang Trieu Assembly Hall, Phuc Kien Assembly Hall, Tan Ky Ancient House, and various traditional handicraft workshops.

In the evening: You have dinner at restaurant. They are free to explore Hoi An at night.

After that, you return Danang. Overnight in Danang.

Day 3: Danang - Bana - Danang (B/L/D)

08:00 AM: You have breakfast. You will join our group to visit Ba Na Hills, a tourist area blessed with a favorable climate and natural beauty. Here, visitors can immerse themselves in the tranquility of European culture and enjoy exciting attractions that never cease.

09:30 to 09:45 AM: You will have the opportunity to experience the cable car system, which offers breathtaking views from the highest point of the most modern cable car system in Southeast Asia. Ba Na Hills’ cable car system holds the Guinness World Record for being the longest single-cable car, stretching 6,771.61 meters. Additionally, it features the world’s longest unconnected cable, measuring 11,587 meters, and the world’s heaviest cable bunch weighing 141.24 tons. After the cable car ride, you will visit France Village, Linh Ung Pagoda, the Flower Garden, and the Golden Bridge. From this vantage point, you will enjoy a panoramic view of Danang city.

11:45 AM to 12:00 AM: Enjoy a buffet lunch at Arapang, a restaurant located on Du Dôme Square. This spacious venue can accommodate up to 4,000 guests and offers a wide selection of over 90 buffet dishes.

01:00 PM: You will have free time to enjoy the various games and attractions at Fantasy Park. As the largest indoor recreational area in Vietnam, Fantasy Park offers a multitude of indoor games suitable for families and children.

02:30 PM: Board the cable car to return to the main bus. The bus will then transport you back to the center of Da Nang. You depart to hotel. You will check in the hotel. You are free to enjoy dinner within your own budget.

Day 4: Danang airport or train station transfer (B)

Have breakfast and check out the hotel.

Local Flavor Meals: Don’t worry about meals; we select both restaurants and menus for you. Elephant Travel Company will select clean and good environment restaurants for our customer. Menu is also carefully selected by us to ensure you try different food every meal.

We will recommend and arrange local cuisine since it is part of the cultural experience while traveling. We also recommend dinners are free on your own so you can choose your favorite food by yourself under necessary assistance of your local guide.

Travel Visa:

Most countries in South East Asia require you to obtain a visa. Please check carefully with your travel specialist regarding specific visa requirements for each country you plan to visit as the legislation does change frequently. Thailand offers a free visa on arrival to most nationalities. Other countries including Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia and Myanmar offer a “visa-on-arrival” service which requires you to pay a fee at the airport, or you may prefer to obtain this in advance through the relevant embassy or a visa agent. For visa-on-arrival in Vietnam, you must submit some paperwork before you arrive.

If you need our assistance with visa procedures for an option to get your visa for Vietnam instead of getting visa at the Vietnam consulate in your country. Please refer to the following steps:

Step 1: Provide us your application details

Step 2: Process your visa information into a visa application

We will contact you for reviewing your visa information and then submit your application on your behalf to Vietnam Immigration department and follow other procedures pursuant to the regulations of Immigration department to get Visa approval letter granted by Immigration department.

We will send the visa approval letter via email to you after 07 working days.

After we obtain the visa approval letter from the Immigration department for you, we will forward you a scanned copy of it by email (Your visa information then has been recorded to the Visa system of the Vietnam Immigration department).

Step 3: Get your visa stamp on your arrival

Just print the approval letter out, prepare 2 passport sized photos and an amount of USD for stamping fee ($25 for single entry visa; $50 for 1 month multiple entry visa). Put all above mentioned things along with your passport in a package, and then show them to Immigration officer at Vietnam arrival airports.

Upon arrival at Vietnam’s airport, expect a simple form to fill in (or you can download form to fill beforehand), present the visa approval letter, passport, photos to the Immigration officer inside the counter and look for a place to hear your name be called to get the passport back and pay for the stamping fee.
