Exploring Hue and Hue traditional folk song on Perfume river

05:00 PM: Our guide picks you up at your hotel in Hue center, and then you’ll hop on a cyclo to begin the journey.

The cyclo then transports you through Kim Long Road to visit Thien Mu Pagoda, the most prestigious temple in Hue. You can also sit down to savor a bowl of hot tofu by the Perfume River, a signature dish at the foot of Thien Mu Pagoda.

After visiting Thien Mu Pagoda, the cyclo will take you to Imperial City of Hue, you can explore and enjoy the scenery in front of the Imperial City.

Continuing the journey, you’ll cross Doan Thi Diem Street, then travel along Mai Thuc Loan Street and pass through Phan Dang Luu Street to discover the lively nightlife scene of the ancient capital of Hue.

You will stop and take a break to savor Hue beef noodle soup, a dish that is not only a specialty of the people of Hue but also of Vietnamese cuisine as a whole. The perfect combination of rich and flavorful broth with the spicy kick of chili paste, along with the distinctive taste of shrimp paste, creates an irresistibly delicious flavor for diners, even on their first try.

Continuing on the journey, you’ll turn onto Tran Hung Dạo Street, with Dong Ba Market, a famous market in Hue, visible on the other side.

The cyclo takes you along Tran Hung Dạo Street, crossing Le Loi Street to reach the Toa Kham Pier.

At 8:00 PM: You board the Dragon Boat to enjoy Hue traditional music on the Perfume River. The boat gently departs from the shore and moves to the middle of the Perfume River. Here, you can savor the folk songs and soulful melodies echoing amidst the Perfume River. Hue traditional music on the Perfume River is a harmonious blend of folk music, royal court music, and elements of chamber music, creating a unique and elegant experience.
