Itinerary

08:00 AM

Pick up at your hotel in Hue center then move to Toa Kham boat station to get on the Dragon boat. On the boat, you have a chance to enjoy the romantic beauty of the Perfume river.

09:00 AM

Arrive at Luong Quan boat station of Thuy Bieu village, you walk to the garden house in Thuy Bieu, here you will be introduced by the tour guide to the ancient house in Hue.

09:30 AM

After that, you ride a bike and start the journey to discover Thuy Bieu eco village – a peaceful village that is famous for “Thanh Tra” (Thanh Tra is a kind of fruit with a typical sweet taste in Thuy Bieu).

You cycle around the village through the lush green orchard “pomelo” to the ancient ancestral temples, and local people’s houses to feel the local life, chat and share cultural values with friendly local people.

Next, you visit the Duc Thanh drawing room. Here, you will admire extremely beautiful and sophisticated landscape paintings by artist Duc Thanh.

11:00 AM

You ride a bike back to the restaurant for cooking class, you will prepare lunch by yourself with our local chief’s instruction. Enjoy your lunch with the Vietnamese food you have just cooked.

Relax by steeping your foot in herbal water.

The car transfers you to Conical Hat village, Incense village, and pay a visit to Vong Canh hill to catch a panoramic view of the Perfume River.

You move to Ru Cha mangrove forest – named after the kind of mangrove tree densely grown in the area. Ru Cha is considered a natural shield against Thuan An sea (Thua Thien Hue province).

The guide and driver of Elephant Travel take you to Chuon lagoon (Tam Giang lagoon). Arrive at the lagoon, you will:

+Take the boat and listen to the introduction of the Tam Giang lagoon system.

+Go deep into the Chuon lagoon, and pass the floating houses to take stunning sunset photos on the lagoon. Each moment on the Tam Giang lagoon is the most memorable moment.

05:00 PM

Then, you have a chance to participate in the program of experiencing true fish men on the lagoon by fishing activities: beating the water, pulling the fishing nets, and catching fish.

Next, you have a chance to get experience “kayak” on the vast lagoon and jump straight into the crystal blue water for a swim. Get ready for some crazy beautiful photos as well as a good cool swim and lots of sunshine.
