1.Transport to Phong Nha
Phong Nha – Ke Bang international park is located in Bo Trach district, about 50 km to the northwest of Dong Hoi city. Every vehicle you choose will only take you to the center of Dong Hoi city. From Dong Hoi to go to Phong Nha, you can catch a taxi, bus, rent cars, motorcycles. Taking a taxi or bus may be the most suitable choice for people who can’t drive for a long time. A local bus goes from Dong Hoi to Phong Nha for 35,000 VND/way. And the name of bus is B4. It departs daily from 5:20 AM – 17:20. If you travel from Hue, you should book Phong Nha daily tour of Elephant Travel. You not only have chance to visit Phong Nha cave but also can be dropped off there after finishing the tour. 2.Hotel in Phong Nha
At Phong Nha, you can stay at many home stays or hotels such as Phuong Nam hotel, Areca Bungalow home stay, Son Doong riverside. These hotels are near center so it’s more easy for you to get to Botanic garden, famous caves, shopping….

Phong Nha cave and Tien Son cave:
This cave is a wet cave and famous for rock formation which has been given the name such as the ” Lion”, the ” Fairy cave”, “the royal court”, and the ” Buddha”. To get inside the cave, you have to take a boat drive through beauty scenic along the Son river. It’s really interesting, but the tickets boat transportation price is quite high but deserve your money. After 25 minutes on boat, you will touch the gate of the cave.
The best time to visit is from January to September. From October to December it is often closed because of seasonal floods. After visiting Phong Nha cave, tourists often visit Tien Son cave – dry cave. These two caves can be called a twin of the Creator. Located at an altitude of about 200m above the ceiling of these two cases cave is about 980m in length. Discovering these two caves is really interesting.
Entrance tickets :
– Phong Nha: 150,000 VND / person / trip. Children under 1.1m: free, from 1.1 – 1.3m: 80,000 VND/person/trip.
– Tien Son: 80,000 VND / person / trip.
Tickets boat transportation: 550,000 VND / boat/2 ways.
Note: Each boat carrying only a maximum of 12 people and a minimum of 1 person. If you travel in a group, you should hire a private boat. If you travel alone or with 1 or 2 friends, let share the boat with others to reduce the price.
Paradise cave
Paradise cave about 70km from Dong Hoi. It’s a dry cave and is called “underground palace” . This cave is 31 km long, longer than Phong Nha cave. It is one of the most magnificent and magical wonders in the world.
Entrance tickets:250.000 VND/ person
Children under 1.1m: free, from 1.1 – 1.3m: 125,000 VND/person/trip.
Electric car: 4 seats: 100,000VND/car/2 ways; 6 seats:150,000VND/car/2 ways; 8 seats:200 VND/car/2 ways
Chay river and Dark cave
Dark cave is about 50km north-west of Dong Hoi. Chay river is a romantic river with hundreds of natural Bonsai on the river banks.
Exploring Dark cave, you should bring flashlights and the specialized equipment tourists to get extremely interesting experiences when swimming across the lake Thuy Tien, Bong Lai … There are a lot of services here such as Muddy bath, ziplining, swimming, kayaking…

Phong Nha is known not only for its many beautiful beaches, scenic captivates but also for its special dishes.
